Otter Notes is a great application for note taking.
It’s an automatic transcription software (available in desktop and for iPhone/Android) — it does the transcription in real time and while it’s not perfect, it’s pretty accurate and very useful.
I use it for taking personal notes (which I’ll put into Roam Research) instead of having to type everything into my iPhone. I use to do this with Evernote previously but the app just seemed to get too heavy and became slow over time.
Otter is great generally for processing interviews, podcasts, and even for writing a book (have someone interview you, get it transcribed, and you have something to work with). Get 1 month of free Premium Otter Notes here.
