SendInBlue Review

If you have a small to medium size business or an Ecommerce store that you are just starting, SendinBlue is a great email marketing solution you must take advantage of. It is budget friendly and consists of 4 different places. The free version is great if you are getting started since it includes unlimited contacts and 300 emails per day. I always recommend starting with a free version to get a feel of the software and see if it works for you. The Lite plan costs $25 per month for up to 40,000 emails, Essential plan costs $66 per month for 120,000 emails. The enterprise plan has a custom pricing and is used for larger companies.

How do I use SendinBlue for my eCommerce business?

The first thing is to upload all of the email addresses I collected through different methods like buyers, discount registrations and so on to SendinBlue. You can either import files such as CSV or text, copy and paste from a list or manually add them.

Once you have all of your contacts on SendInBlue, let the fun begin. SendinBlue allows you to send newsletters, transactional emails (account creation, password reset), text messages (code verification, order tracking) and email marketing to your list.

You can create your newsletter using templates already available or create your own original newsletter by using the newsletter creator. You can drag and drop images, title blocks, your own logo or edit the newsletter by using editing tools such as cropping, resizing, background color, orientation…

Once you have finalized your newsletter, you can email it to yourself to make sure things are the way you want them to be or send it to your subscribers. To know if your newsletter is well received by your recipients, simply click the show Statistics button. You will see vital information such as total campaign count, total recipients, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, replies and bounces. Based on the report which can be download into a CSV file, you can optimize your newsletter.

SendInBlue’s Marketing automation allows you to automatically send Welcome Messages, Birthday Messages, reminders on Abandoned Carts, Product Purchase, product browsing and website visits and activity-based templates. This is possible because SendInBlue is linked with your commerce website and can monitor basic user activity and initiate a workflow on emails.

You can segment your subscribers based on age, purchase activity, frequency and send them custom emails and personalize the customer relationship. You can create a workflow from a basic contact file, a contact who has completed an email or website activity, a contact who has submitted data or a contact who as logged visiting your website and create a series of if/then conditions to determine what you want to send your subscribers.

You can integrate SendinBlue with other CRM tools, google analytics, zoho CRM and more… With SendInBlue, you can take advantage of the SMS in addition to email to notify customers about order confirmation and other transactional emails and texts…

All and all, SendinBlue has many features that a small or medium size business can take advantage for free to use for its email marketing and customer relationship. Its a great and easy to use tool that helps foster customer relationship and improve your brand.
