There’s a ton of information being produced now. Having an effective filter is useful. That’s why I like have a newsletter with a digest of news stories where I can skim quickly to see what’s there and anything that catches my eye.

On the days when I have more time, I’ll read the Financial Times cover to cover. On the busier days, I’ll read through the highlights of the Economist (Politics & Business this week).
Warren Buffett starts his morning with the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the New York Times, USA Today, the Omaha World-Herald, and the American Banker. Needless to say, that guy reads a lot.
